In 2008, I made a trip to Tanzania. While I was there, I met a Great Man of God, who devoted his life to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone he met. He was in need of a building and I promised to do what I could to help. Knitting for Tanzania is my attempt to help him build a church building. All profits from sales of my knits go directly to help with his building project. You can visit Knitting for Tanzania by clicking here or on the Picture of Mwene and his wife on my sidebar.

I love Chinese food, but I guess it isn't the authentic stuff. I would never touch this!!!
I am here-just been really busy!!! By next week...should be smoother sailing!!!
I would never eat that stuff -- dog brain oh my God! We have a Chinese place here in town don't know if I want to go back after those pictures. Much Love From Louisiana.
Oh dear... That's pretty intense. I would need to be feeling pretty feisty to try some of those. To each his own, though, I suppose :)
A friend sent me that e-mail and I'll tell you what - it's good for the diet - cause I sure didn't want any lunch after that!!!
And regarding your comment on my blog... I'm thinking I have an idea how you ended up a Gramma 2 Many.... wink wink... nod nod....
oh.my.gosh.
Gramma, I ain't comin' by on Wednesdays no mo.'
And no how.
No thanks.
I think I just threw up a little in my mouth....
We got this in an email. Yuck. But isn't it interesting how our cultures shape our food preferences? I always think about that as I watch my husband eat spicy foods. To him, he's not eating unless he's sweating. And then the girls and I are sooo wimpy. I am so curious as to how babies and young children get used to all that spice. But the Chinese stuff...
But then, you have to wonder who thought it would be a good idea to eat a lobster...
I'm with Gina. Any appetite I might have had is GONE with the Wind. I am so thankful we never were stationed in China or Japan while my hubby was in the AF. I know many love it but the food scares me!!! I'm all about our American version of Chinese and Japanese food though.
Thanks for your supportive comments today. My "off" feeling turned out to be the beginning of the cold my sweet daughter has passed on to me. YEAH!
Yes, I absolutey LOVED Washington state. I miss our view....it was of the Cascade mountains. Here our view is of our neighbors yard.
My bro in law went to China twice this past year for business....he said they eat EVERY part of the animal over there. YUCK! He tried one of the scorpians on the sticks and said it tasted like chicken. Ha! Big shocker there! :) I think if I had to go, I'd finally lose that last 10 pounds!!
Ok so after I went to the bathroom to review what I ate for lunch.lol
This is just gross. I mean really , really gross.
Anyhow thanks for visiting yesterday. Stop by anytime.
Yikes! Some of that stuff scared me!!! Hope you are doing well!
I almost cried and threw-up reading that .. I'm a meat and potatoes type of girl. My hubs thought it looked kinda good.
The dog brain stuff .. I squealed like a 5 year old, I won't even lie.
I probably shouldn't even ask what you ate...
Oh NO way!! What a great diet though. That would be one sure way for me to lose weight.
Thanks for your comments today and for visiting the great state of Colorado!
