Another Headband
Angela Juergens at Absolute Knits has designed the cutest headband. I have knit three so far, with orders for three more. I am thinking my model Shaylene Aspen #3206 is pretty durn cute too.

Delivered!!
Oh how I fought with the pattern, but the end results were beautiful~
Not a real clear picture, I was trying to capture the detail of the pattern
My friend Joyce gets to choose which she likes most. The others I will sell. I have a favorite, am waiting to see if it is the same as hers.
Arlington High School colors.
Candy Corn
Baby Bumble Bee
My favorite yarn Spud and Chloe
The blue and yellow hats were knit for a friend. She had ordered it in the fall and I did make her one. The colors were not exactly what she had expected, so it went home on the head of a grandchild. I am hoping these colors suit her more. I knit four so she could choose one she likes.
The baby socks are just to replenish my supply and the hat because I think they are so stinking cute:)
Currently I am working on a lovely pair of fingerless mittens and then on to a darling baby dress that the designer so kindly donated the pattern to me for my project. Those little random acts of kindness mean so much. I am really excited to get started on it:)
So...........I really had a productive week while I was computerless. Guess I should discipline myself to only an hour of computer time so I can continue to make inroads with my knits.

It is the same hat
in both pictures. Just added an interchangeable flower. I made this for the lady who bought my sweet little green dress. She asked for a hat to go with it. She can unbutton one flower and add the other if she wishes. I am so in love with the dress I am very tempted to knit it again.
My goal was to sell $1000.00 in knits this year. I am right at $900.00. I am trusting God to help me fulfill this goal. I am also thinking I may have to raise my goal. My all over goal is to raise $5000.00. At the rate of $1000.00 per year, I will be closing in on 70 once I make it. I want to still be able to go back to Africa to help with the building, so therefore, I will be raising my mark. Stan thinks I knit a lot now, let's see what he thinks in the coming year:)

FINISHED!!
I finally finished them!! When I finished the above dress, I knew that it needed a perfect pair of tights to go with it. After many starts and stops with hurdles along the way, I finished them last night. If you saw last nights post, you may have seen that I had a small problem with them then. I was knitting along happy that I was nearly finished when I held them up to look (admire) and discovered that I was knitting the last sock on backwards!!! I certainly was thankful I had just started it. Rip it, rip it, rip it, and start the sock over. I really wish I had a tiny grand daughter to wear it. Since I do not, it will be a nice addition to my fund for the church.
Dress, $60.00. Tights $ 35.00. I will ship for free:)
