Almost 50 years for that elf.. wow. Is Elf on a Shelf a historic tradition? I'd never heard of it until this month. He's cute.
Those ornaments are really pretty. I think my parents have a few of those type ornaments still. All my ornaments are bland new ones, just red and gold balls. I really should hunt some vintage balls. Cool that you found some ornaments that have meaning for you.
We used to have glass ornaments like those, I haven't seen any for sale over here.they are so nice what a great memory to have,i think vacuuming the tree to remove creepy crawlies is clever but your lucky all the needles didn't get sucked off as well. My daughter helpedme decorate last week less than last year but enough!
Love those ornaments and how much they mean to you. Special memories and lady! What I love most is that I've actually been in your home and can visualized exactly how your home looks at Christmas.
