This sign gave me a real chuckle

The sign on the bottom. I saw it in a couple of places around Kotzebue. It says $100.00 fine for littering. City of Kotzebue.............All I can say is hmmmm.
I am home. I had an amazing visit in an amazing village. If Tricia and Dave were to stay there, I would probably be up there as often as possible.
Thanks for the great week Tricia, Dave, Ben, Cooper and all of the amazing people I met in Kotzebue.

Thank you for taking us there too. I liked seeing such a different place. I think I'm too spoiled though. They seem to work hard, much harder than I, to live.

Oh my word, Evy, it looks like you had a wonderful time -- how incredible! I've been behind on my blog reading but went back and read all your posts about Alaska. I looks like an awesome part of the country. But 6.59 a gallon?! Holy cow! Talk about a completely different way of life, huh?!

I'm glad you and your daughter had a great visit and thank you for sharing it with the rest of us.

Enjoy your own bed!

Friday HUGS!

Thank you mom for coming and visit and taking care of us! The enchiladas were soooooo good last night!

Love you.

ps. ladies, it's not really a harder life here, we honestly find our life here to be a lot simpler than our old suburban life!

i loved traveling there with you too. I have always wanted to visit. We have a friend who was on CCCI staff with us who lives and does youth ministry up there and I would love to visit them someday. That would be so fun.
