I am going to be

gone for a few days. We are going to Montana, Philipsburg actually. Stan's office building has been undergoing a major remodel. Beginning tomorrow they are going to remove the interior walls and connect the building to the new exterior walls. Since he cannot see patients under those circumstances we made the decision to take a ski holiday. A ski holiday for him. I do not ski so I will take my knitting and my book and cuddle down in the lodge we are staying at. My daughter Angie and her family are going as well as our son in law Sebastian and four of their five children.
Friends of ours actually own the lodge (Flintcreek Lodge) and I am looking forward to spending time with them. She is the youngest sister of the young man who was killed in the plane crash this fall. I posted about that when we made the trip over to Baker for his funeral. His parents will make the trip over for the weekend also. We have not been together for many years, with the exception of my hurried trip over for the funeral, so I am truly looking forward to reconnecting. I tried to get a picture from the web to show you, but couldn't will have to just post mine when we get home.

missing you...and I have to say, with all those fun friends and family, I don't think it will be very relaxing! But wonderful, nonetheless!

And I love Julie's mittens!

Have a safe trip! I'll try to post my interview soon...Valentine's Day and February in general are quite busy to prepare for with all these special hearts around here.

I'll do my best to be timely...

All those people going, plus some of the grandkids and you think you're going to read and knit? :-)

Have fun! We'll miss you!

Blessings on your trip and have a wonderful time. Just the words "sitting in the lodge" make me happy. Is there a fireplace? Snow on the ground outside? Happy laughter on the inside. Ahhhhhhhh. Peace. Now you just need a hot tub and it's complete :)

I hope you have a great trip. I don't suppose your son-in-law will be housesitting while you are gone?

Sorry I haven't been here in a while. I haven't been posting or commenting much since Yaya isn't taking naps regularly anymore. That and trying to be busy and outside while the weather is nice have kept me away. Now, you're gone too. Enjoy your time in MT. My family is from Eastern MT. Funny how we have family and friends in similar places.
