It is pretty difficult when you are 2 1/2 and 5 1/2

To spend the whole day with Great Grandma. Especially if it is cold and rainy and we have to stay inside.
But this week, it was sunny and we got to go outside.
We got to inspect Uncle Larry's new chicken coop

And hide in Uncle Kevin's raspberry patch.

And smell his flowers

And help Great Grandma pull some weeds

We even got to climb around on Uncle Kevin's waterfall above his pond. The water was turned off.
All in all it was a pretty good day. Even Great Grandma was happier because she could go outside for a little while. It gets pretty boring for her just sitting in her chair all day long and for us when we cannot play like little kids are suppose to do.

How fun, Evy! We had cousins over this week, and our raspberries are pretty much all eaten!

How lucky are they to still have a great grandma who can share such fun days with them. Especially those raspberries. I wouldn't be hiding in them unless it was to gobble up every last one. Shhhh don't tell!

Blogger doesn't seem to be cooperating with me today - some of the pics seemed to be missing?
The ones that are there though, brought a smile to my face. Those 2 little ones will have some wonderful memories to look back on as they grow, won't they?

I still remember spending time with my Nana,(she was in her 70's when I was born)and some of my greatest memories are of sitting by her side and playing with the rings on her fingers - and feeling loved beyond measure.

I pray with my whole heart that when you're 5 1/2 you're old enough to long remember the days you spent hanging out with your gran and your great-gran. And when you're 2 1/2 you're old enough to at least one day appreciate the pictures your gran took of the whole thing.

What a blessing.
