I have been knitting.

For the past few days. Getting some hats ready to put into my friends Christmas store. If I sell any, the proceeds will go to my Refugee project. Most are running in the $20.00 range since the yarn costs an average of $10.00 per skein. With the exception of the bottom blue one. That yarn was a bit more costly, thus a little higher price tag for it. All are 100% wool. I plan to make some mittens also. Will probably start them next week. I do have a few other hats made, but my model has not been available for a photo shoot.
If anyone is interested in making a purchase, contact me. I will be happy to work out the arrangements. If you want something different than what I am showing, I will be happy to work that out also.

Love the striped one!

Would also love a purple and red one--you know--for those of us who are old enough to wear those colors. :-)

Oh, more specifically, the striped one in pictures 5 and 6.

I love'em all! Unfortunately, I'm sitting here in my undies, with the fan on high and a cool drink on the desk.
Summer has hit here with a vengence, and after a week of around 90F, I'm ready for winter again! I'll need a hat then, so maybe I better prepare now, eh?

Isn't she one of the prettiest girls ever seen? Gramma, you have more models living next door to the park! I am going to have to have you show me how to take a crochet pattern for a hat and make it out of plastic, I have had a couple of people say they want one!!!
