My 200th post!!

Who would have thought!!
Before I tell you what I have in mind, I need to update you all on my mother.
We took her to a new Dr. yesterday afternoon. He acted like he cared. He even touched her!! The other Dr (sic) would sit with her back to her and ask her questions and put them in her computer, never touching and rarely looking at her.
Today my brother and I took her in for her pre-op appointment and the Dr. felt confident that she was strong enough to go through the surgery. Right knee replacement. He did say that since she has become so sedentary her recovery would be a bit longer than usual. I do not care how long it takes as long as she is not in continual chronic pain.
I have to go meet my husband at the Mexican Restaurant down the street for dinner, so I will leave you all in suspense for a while concerning my 200th post.
Must say though, thanks for all of the prayers and encouragement for my dear mother. Gotta love you all!!!

Oh that's soooo good to hear!!! Doctors with bed side manners are hard to come by these days! I wish you all the best!

NOW!?!?! Mexican Food? I'm jealous! It's our absolute favorite!

Did you find anything on your porch this afternoon? :)

A lovely hand made card and fudge shaped in a heart mold and covered with broken Heath bars. Mmmmmm... Yes, of course I have already tasted it, you don't think I would let it sit there beautiful and untasted do you?

I am so glad to hear you have a REAL dr, and one that listens too. I am also jealous about you going to mexican food and your fudge, but we went to Marysville and had Thai food. in the same shopping center as Safeway on State street then came home and had some chocolate from Belgium, mmmmm yummy good ha ha ha ha.
