Thought I would get into the action

of MY HUSBAND ROCKS!!

Sometimes after as many years as we have been together, you can begin to feel like you are wearing the most comfortable old shoe you own. You know what I mean. He is just there and you know and expect him to be.
I have thought about My Husband Rocks for several weeks.
Of course in 43 years of marriage, there have been a few bumps in the road, ones that I need not elaborate on, the best news is that we worked all of the kinks out so far. God has blessed us in that we both understand that we are in this together and forever.
How does Stan rock?
He is not a demonstrative man, he is not into the outward showing of affection.
As a young woman, I always wished he was. He never reaches out and takes my hand, but if I take his, he does not let go.
He is my rock here on earth.
He comes home every night. Sober.
I have never had to wonder where he was at any time in our marriage.
He has always provided for his family to the very best of his ability.
He supports me in my endeavors. Currently he is behind me 100% in my trip to Africa.
He trusts me explicitly.
He is very quiet, and thoughtful. He never makes a statement without first thinking it through and knowing the consequences of what he says or does.
It took me many years to recognize it, but he is extremely sensitive.
He loves all of his children and grandchildren with a passion that is very hard for him to express.
He is tenacious. At close to 40 years of age, he went back to college to get his Chiropractic Degree. He never gave up, even when things were difficult in trying to still provide for his family and earn a degree.
He loves and trusts the Lord with all of his heart. Once he made that commitment, he has never looked back.
YES STAN, YOU DO ROCK
