Having a personality

That tends to dwell on what hurts and what cannot be changed. I have decided to instead focus on what makes me happy.
A Rainbow and the promise it holds definitely makes me happy.
This rainbow was last week.  I took the picture from my back porch looking East over the rooftops of other homes in the neighborhood.

Ok, your backyard is too pretty. I'm moving in. Lol. What a pretty rainbow. I think it's easy to dwell on the pain, and sometimes it's good to mourn and feel the sadness... but it can be consuming. Glad you're seeing the light in it too.

One of my favorite quotes is "Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness." - Carl Jung. I even made a desktop wallpaper of it I like it so much.

Ever read Lil Blue Boo (.com)? That poor lady has been through it this year. In the past few months, her dad died suddenly on a vacation, she got pregnant, had a miscarriage, found out she had cancer, then had an emergency hysterectomy and now is having chemo (it's working). Somehow she still manages to keep her sense of humor. Her motto on her blog is "Choose Joy"-- I think her dad used to say it, or something. Her blog is pretty cool to read.

I think God put that rainbow up there especially for you--his own personal message! I say, Don't dwell on the negative, dwell on the Savior! :-)

Luv and Hugs.
