I am tired of all the same old dribble political wise. Nothing changes there. We are being governed by a bunch of Socialists and complaining for the next three years is not going to change that. I will remain vigilant, but sometimes I feel like I am preaching to the choir, so I am just going to quit for a while. Maybe a day, maybe a week, maybe just an hour. But nothing more tonight.

Have you checked out the Manhattan Declaration? It's definitely worth the read and research. When I read and signed it there were only about 5000 sigs. Now there are over 200,000! check it out.
I understand just how you feel grandma. I'm about ready to pull what little hair I have left, out.
Here's the problem as I see it. America has gone as far as it's prepared to go in taking back our Founder's vision. Now all they want to do is to continue their marches and writing congressmen and senators. All of which they've done and have had no real progress with.
Without escalating this fight into the realms of civil disobedience and beyond if needs be, we are walking on a tread mill. We work up a sweat, breath hard, and wear ourselves out without ever gaining a single foot's worth of progress.
I guess you could rightly call me an extremist. But extremism in defense of a righteous cause is not a vice. It is a duty.
Even us democrats are getting exasperated. Really. (Hope that brings a smile to your face!)
A bill that would have allowed same-sex marriage was just rejected by New York lawmakers, so don't give up yet.
Hang in there... and don't give up!
I know it seems daunting and a waste of time sometimes, but we CAN make a difference. Maybe not the difference what we hope for, but I pray that we can get our country back on track eventually.
Maybe you have the blahs-maybe lost your mojo temporarily, the State of the Union is enough to do that to those of us with "eyes to see & ears to hear".
Hope you got your mold fixed because that could be part of your problem.
