It is rather unusual for us to have this much snow, but we are loving it. I actually have not been out in it as I am still sequestered in my sewing room.
I have finished two pair of jammies and a cowboy vest so far. I have also knit three hats and two pair of mittens. I have finished a few works in progress, socks, and scarves. I did have to take the time to show you these snow pictures though. I am hearing that people all over the U.S. are having snow. Even those who usually (like us) do not get it. %$*@# that global warming. Right now we have about 18 inches and still more forcast for the weekend

Hello! Global Warming is SO 2008! We are now moving into the new ice age for 2009.
I walked into the bank the other day and said, "I think Hell froze over." Liz and Eileen almost wet them selves....
I am sooooooo jealous. As are my boys. I want that much snow, I'm tired of this pansy stuff that keeps spitting out of the clouds here..................

Funny how the weather can be so different just 35 miles south of you! We only have about 3.5 inches here.
Looks lovely! I hope it will snow in Maryland! It will be our "last" until we move back from Hawaii (we move to HI in April). My parents are on Bainbridge - I bet they are loving the snow!! I'm new to your blog - it's very brill!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. You asked why so many Catholics voted a liberal ticket. The only reason I can think of is that our faith has been so watered down, made politically correct and for a while our Church Leaders (at least here in America) facilitated that distillation. They are now beginning to pour full strength, but it's going to take some time to adjust the levels. Pray for all of God's children, this is a universal problem. All Christians, not just Catholic Christians, need a wake up call. These are the signs of the times. Pray unceasingly.
We had 12 inches of snow overnight. The last of the snow is falling right now. Last day of school before break-canceled! Stay warm and finish those projects!

I L.O.V.E. nasty weather, I'll just put it out there. I'm disappointed that it's gone over freezing here and melted all my pretty-pretty.

yup - I'll email you...have to do it in a bit or two. I'm trying to figure out picasa, and apparently, it's uploading about a gajiillion-million photos off my computer so I can make O.N.E. photo collage.
