I'll bet those rooms won't be looking like that when you arrive home! :)

Seriously, I am excited about your opportunity and will keep you in my prayers.

God go with you and keep you safe!

Hold hands when you cross the street and don't talk to strangers.
Remember our cultural lessons:
Eat everything that is put in front of you- make sure you pray for it first- and don't drink the water. Also, dont use ice. Ice= water. If you don't like it and don't wish for more, leave a couple of bites on your plate. if you eat it all they will give you more.
Refuse the first time you are offered anything- accept the second time. This loosley translates to- don't be greedy, and don't insult your host's hospitality.
Everyone will want to touch you- especially your hair. I know we don't like to be touched- get over it.

I will pick up the phone 100 times to call you in the next month. 50 times I will dial anyway and talk to Dad.

I love you, and I am proud of you.

P.S.
Those hydrangea blossoms are absolutely the prettiest I've ever seen. What did you feed them to get these beautiful shades? (I'm assuming they're from your yard.)

Oh, does that mean you'll be knocking on my door to clean my home next? Just kidding! Stay safe. I'll be praying for traveling mercies for you all. Can't wait to hear all the wonderful stories you'll have to share!

Gramma -
I wrote earlier, but the comment disappeared. Did you call 1-800- @_#(*%&@% before you left, cuz he wasn't let my words go through.

Nonetheless, I wanted to let you know that MidWestern churches are praying on your behalf. Thank you for answering the call of God to do this. May His voice resonate through yours, His ways work the very bones of your hands, and may others see His heart through you.

(And I know they do.)

Much love,
~k
